RIPCO Real Estate adds two EVPs to N.J. market

RIPCO Real Estate has named Steven Winters and Michael Horne as new executive vice presidents for its New Jersey markets.

The pair join RIPCO as a coordinated team that has been working together at CBRE for the past nine years. They will focus on the Northern and Central Jersey markets.

RIPCO President Mark Kaplan applauded the hire.

“At RIPCO, we are actively recruiting top talent to join our New Jersey team, and both Steven and Mike were at the top of our list,” he said. “They bring expansive market knowledge and decades-long relationships, but, more importantly, they’re fantastic people who fit right in with our existing team.  We are confident that they will quickly get rolling in our Elmwood Park office and expand our presence throughout northern and central New Jersey.”

Winters and Horne said they were thrilled to be joining RIPCO.

“I couldn’t ask for a better partner than Mike,” Winters said. “We are tremendously privileged and excited about our new journey with RIPCO, a first-class retail real estate organization.”

Horne agreed.

“Steven and I have complementary skill sets, which has allowed our partnership to flourish,” he said. “And we expect that success to accelerate using the RIPCO platform.”

RIPCO bills itself as a leading independent full-service brokerage with services including leasing, investment sales, property management and debt and structured finance.

Winters has over three decades of experience in landlord and tenant representation, investment and land sales, development layout and design expertise and advisory services to retail and mixed-use property owners, developers and tenants.

Horne, with more than 35 years in the retail real estate business, has extensive experience in site selection, market analysis, site development and dispositions.
