Ross-Dulan named to Savoy Magazine’s Most Influential Corporate Directors list

Brenda Ross-Dulan recently was named to Savoy Magazine’s 2024 Most Influential Corporate Directors list.

Savoy editors said the biennial honor highlights an elite assembly of board directors whose strategic vision and governance excellence are actively reshaping the corporate landscape.

Ross-Dulan fits that mold.

A frequent honoree on various ROI-NJ Influencer lists, she is the founder and managing Principal of The Ross-Dulan Group, a boutique, diverse, woman-owned strategy consulting firm designed to transform companies by transforming decision-makers. She leverages more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry to help CEOs and executives across the US solve their toughest business challenges.

Her financial services experience includes corporate banking, construction financing for commercial real estate developers, and community development and investment. Driven by her personal mission to continue to make a difference in the lives of others, she leveraged her background in banking and community reinvestment to establish the RD Capital Partners. The firm seeks to demonstrate that investments in underserved markets can be both transformative and profitable for local stakeholders and investors.

In 2021, Ross-Dulan was elected to the board of directors of NJM Insurance Group, her first corporate board. She serves on its investment and audit committees. In 2022, she was named to the board of trustees of NCIF, a Chicago based firm that invests in mission-driven banks and other financial institutions across the nation.

Ross-Dulan has extensive experience in nonprofit board governance on both the east and west coasts. She became the first African American female to lead a majority chamber in the State of New Jersey, when she was installed as the Chair of the Board of the Princeton Regional Chamber of Commerce in January 2020. She led the board through the unprecedented pandemic and economic shutdown.

She is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and an advisor to the New Jersey Black Women’s Collective. In October 2023, she was elected to the board of directors of the New Jersey Chapter of the National Assocation of Corporate Directors.

She has been ranked as one of the nation’s most powerful women in corporate America by Black Enterprise Magazine.
