Hartz Mountain opens leasing at The Reserve at Estuary in Weehawken

Hartz Mountain Industries announced the official launch of leasing at The Reserve at Estuary, a new luxury rental development located on the last available waterfront parcel in Weehawken’s Lincoln Harbor neighborhood.

The 218-unit property at 1525 Harbor Blvd. is the final phase of a 40-year transformation of the 60-acre Lincoln Harbor, a former industrial site now home to offices, dining, residential communities and public parks along the Hudson River.

Rising seven stories and spanning a full city block, The Reserve at Estuary was designed by New Jersey-based MHS Architecture to blend modern design with industrial-inspired materials. The building’s glass façade and iron-spot brick detail nod to the area’s heritage while offering contemporary visual appeal.

Apartments range from studios to two-bedroom-plus-den layouts. Units feature high ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, smart technology, custom closets, in-unit washers and dryers, and high-end finishes such as wide-plank flooring, quartz countertops and stainless steel appliances. Select residences include private outdoor space in the form of balconies, patios or terraces.

Gus Milano, president and chief operating officer at Hartz Mountain, said the project represents the company’s long-term commitment to revitalizing Lincoln Harbor.

“Lincoln Harbor presented us with an extraordinarily rare opportunity to develop a prime tract of New Jersey’s Gold Coast,” Milano said in a statement. “After four decades of hard work, we’re thrilled our vision is nearing its full realization.”

The building offers nearly 40,000-square feet of indoor and outdoor amenities. Highlights include a resort-style swimming pool, landscaped courtyard with lounge seating and outdoor games, grilling stations, and a rooftop entertainment lounge with a demonstration kitchen. Indoor amenities include a coworking lounge, private work pods, a fitness center with strength training room, resident lounges and a game room with billiards.

The Reserve also includes 200 on-site parking spaces and is located steps from the NY Waterway ferry terminal, offering a six-minute commute to Midtown Manhattan. The Lincoln Tunnel, NJ Transit bus lines and the Hudson-Bergen Light Rail provide additional transit options.

Residents will also benefit from the neighborhood’s growing array of retail and culinary offerings, including Whole Foods Market, Blu on the Hudson, Chart House, and Ruth’s Chris Steak House. The nearby Weehawken Pier and Lincoln Harbor Park offer public waterfront access, a dog park and seasonal outdoor concerts.

The building is professionally managed by Greystar. Monthly rents start at $3,300 for studios, $3,725 for studios with dens, $3,890 for one-bedrooms, $4,200 for one-bedrooms with dens, and $4,785 for two-bedroom units.
