Hoboken-based Haven Savings Bank, which provides retail and commercial banking services to customers in Bergen, Union, Hudson, Morris, Passaic and Essex counties, announced that its president and chief executive officer, Lisa M. Franconeri, has been elected to serve on the board of directors of the New Jersey Bankers Association (NJBankers).
NJBankers is the statewide trade organization representing banks and financial institutions throughout New Jersey. It provides leadership, education and resources to advance the banking industry statewide.
In her role as a board member, Franconeri will work alongside banking leaders from across the state to help guide the association’s strategic direction and support initiatives that strengthen the banking industry and the communities it serves.
“I … look forward to working and collaborating with the NJBankers team to support the organization and the banking community across New Jersey,” said Franconeri.
She has more than 30 years of experience with Haven Savings Bank, where she has consistently demonstrated leadership in advancing the bank’s mission and serving its communities.
Franconeri was named president and chief executive officer in 2025, after previously serving as senior vice president and Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) officer. She was appointed board director, as well.
Over the course of her career, Franconeri has built deep expertise in lending, portfolio management, CRA practices, budgeting, marketing and strategic planning.
As CRA officer, she launched several innovative programs to help low- to moderate-income borrowers achieve first-time homeownership and played a key role in expanding the bank’s marketing initiatives.
