Weber Gallagher said on March 19 that Teresa C. Finnegan has joined the firm as a partner in its medical malpractice group. She will work in the firm’s Mount Laurel office.
Her addition further strengthens Weber Gallagher’s medical malpractice defense capabilities and reflects the firm’s continued investment in experienced trial attorneys. Finnegan is the eighth attorney to join Weber Gallagher this year.
“Teresa brings deep experience defending healthcare professionals and institutions in complex medical malpractice matters,” said Partner Kenneth Brown. “Her strong litigation background, practical approach, and understanding of the medical and regulatory issues our clients face make her an excellent fit for our practice.”
Finnegan focuses her practice on the defense of healthcare professionals and entities in medical malpractice litigation and proceedings before licensing boards. She represents physicians, nurses, physical therapists, midwives, medical groups, and hospitals in claims involving alleged negligence, malpractice, and related matters. Her experience includes discovery, motion practice, depositions, expert coordination, and trial preparation.
Prior to joining Weber Gallagher, Finnegan built a civil litigation practice with a concentration in medical malpractice and insurance defense. She has experience analyzing complex medical records, collaborating with expert witnesses, and advising clients and insurers on case strategy and risk assessment.
Weber Gallagher has more than 130 legal professionals working in 13 offices across eight states in the Mid-Atlantic, Midwest, and South Florida. Weber Gallagher also serves clients through the WG virtual office, WG Anywhere, in nine other states.
