Sparta-based CP Engineers, a full-service engineering firm, announced Tuesday that it has acquired Chester-based Cornerstone Structural Engineering Consultants.
CP Engineers specializes in site/civil, water/wastewater, municipal, MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) and environmental engineering. CP officials feel the acquisition of Cornerstone will enhance the firm’s internal expertise in structural engineering.
As part of the deal, Cornerstone President Glenn Brackmann will join CP Engineers.
CP Engineers Senior Vice President Steve Donati was thrilled to announce the deal.

Brackmann has over 40 years of experience in civil engineering, with expertise in building structural design, remedial structural repairs and alterations, pilings, sheetpiling, foundations, structural reports and structural investigations for a myriad of structures including sanitary, drainage, waterfront and other special structures.
