Mount Laurel car sales icon receives Automotive Dealer Lifetime Achievement Award

Mindy Holman, chair of the board for Mount Laurel-based Holman, accepted the Automotive Dealer Lifetime Achievement award. Last week’s 16th annual Boca Raton Concours d’Elegance event featured an exciting weekend of festivities, celebrities and legendary automobiles, and, each year, the event’s chairs honor a collection of leaders from across the industry for their commitment and outstanding contributions to the automotive world and automotive business endeavors.

“It’s difficult to express how honored I am to be recognized alongside two (other) legends of our industry,” Mindy Holman stated. “While I’m humbled to receive this award, it is certainly a testament to the legacy of my grandfather and father, who established the foundation upon which our remarkable organization is built. I’d also like to express my gratitude to my extended Holman family of employees. It’s your efforts and unwavering commitment to our values and principles that continue to drive what’s right every day for our organization, our customers and our communities.”

“On behalf of our entire organization, I’d like to congratulate Mindy on this well-deserved honor. We could not be prouder of all that she’s accomplished throughout her illustrious career,” said Carl Ortell, Holman’s CEO. “Whether she’s going above and beyond for a customer, volunteering her time with a charitable organization or simply supporting a friend or colleague, Mindy truly embodies the spirit of the ‘Holman Way.’ She is the essence of driving what’s right and continues to be the guiding light that inspires our entire organization on a daily basis.”

The Boca Raton Concours d’Elegance is the fastest growing Concours in the nation and the world’s largest Concours owned by a charity, fully benefiting the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward Country, which serves thousands of at-risk youth each year. The annual event has raised more than $10 million for the charity during its 16-year history.

The three-day event culminated with one of the world’s most prestigious displays, 200-plus collector cars and motorcycles, including several one-of-a-kind masterpieces.
