RWJBarnabas Health inks 11,667 sq. ft. long-term lease at Eisenhower building in Livingston

CBRE on Monday said it completed an 11,667-square-foot lease for RJWBarnabas Health at Eastman Cos.’ the Eisenhower (formerly known as the Eisenhower Corporate Campus), a 384,000-square-foot, Class A office building in Livingston.

The network of independent health care providers, whose members include academic centers, acute care facilities and research hospitals, committed to a long-term lease at the campus to house its administrative offices and training facility.

This is the second lease CBRE announced it helped facilitate at the Eisenhower in a week, having just signed boutique law firm A.Y. Strauss for 10,728 square feet on the third floor.

CBRE’s Jonathan Meisel, Dan Casey and Erin Wenzler spearheaded the leasing campaign at the property on behalf of Eastman Cos., working with Eric Maurer, the director of leasing at Eastman.

“RWJBarnabas needed a centrally located Class A office facility that was easily accessible for their team of professionals,” Meisel stated. “The Eisenhower offered the health care firm state-of-the-art office space as well as a number of on-site amenities including ample parking, food service options and premium conferencing facilities.”

The building offers premium amenities not found in most suburban office buildings, including a 220-seat auditorium with state-of-the-art audio and video equipment, parking deck, electric car chargers, a full-service cafeteria and walkable retail amenities.

Located at 290 W. Mount Pleasant Ave., the Eisenhower is northern New Jersey’s most centrally located Class A office facility. The Eisenhower is situated minutes from Newark Liberty International Airport and New York City, offering convenient access to Interstates 280, 80 and 287, the New Jersey Turnpike and the Garden State Parkway. The Eisenhower is owned in a joint venture of Eastman and P3RE.

Richel Commercial Brokerage represented the tenant.
