Prager Metis CPAs expands presence in North Carolina as it joins forces with Goldsmith Molis & Gray

Prager Metis, the New York-based accounting and advisory firm with a major presence in New Jersey, on Thursday said it has joined forces with Goldsmith Molis & Gray. This strategic pairing bolsters Prager Metis’ presence in North Carolina and expands its suite of services.

This merger will be retroactively effective as of Jan. 1.

Joe Molis, Allen Gray and Crystal Goldsmith have come on board Prager Metis as partners, and George Gabler and Steven Foster have joined as principals. Their team will be working out of their current offices in Asheville and Hendersonville, North Carolina.

With roots tracing back over 60 years, GM&G has established itself as a leader in delivering tailored tax, accounting, auditing and business advisory solutions to its clients. The firm’s partners and over 40 skilled professionals leverage deep expertise to proactively meet the needs of private enterprises and entrepreneurs across diverse industries.

“We are excited to partner with a well-regarded firm like Goldsmith Molis & Gray,” Glenn Friedman, Prager Metis CEO, said. “Prager Metis prides itself on providing best-in-class service to every client. The addition of GM&G enhances our capabilities and enables us to deliver an even wider range of premier accounting, tax and advisory solutions. This partnership reinforces our commitment to growth and leadership in the market.”

With the addition of GM&G and its team members, Prager Metis further solidifies its presence in North Carolina and its place among the largest accounting firms globally.

“This strategic partnership enables us to leverage our joint expertise in new ways that unlock greater value for clients,” Molis said. “By integrating the GM&G team into Prager Metis’ industry-leading platform, together we will build upon our rich histories of client-centered service. We are confident this partnership positions us for the future in a dynamically growing market.”
