Tropicana Atlantic City’s newest arcade, Game Up Lounge is now open

Tropicana Atlantic City recently announced the grand opening of Game Up Lounge, a brand-new high-end arcade located in The Quarter. The venue offers a unique social gaming experience where guests can enjoy the latest virtual and augmented reality machines, state-of-the-art pinball, social games, and deluxe arcade classics, all within an exhilarating lounge atmosphere.

Featuring over 2,700 sq. ft., the arcade offers over 20 unique attractions and games to choose from, an advanced sound system, TVs, and a snack bar offering a variety of candy, chips, soda, juices, and more. Game highlights include new virtual reality attractions like Godzilla Kaiju Wars and King Kong of Skull Island II, augmented reality darts, Deadpool-themed Pinball, Jet-Pong, and air hockey.

Games are played with cashless currency on re-loadable cards, and the cards can be loaded with credit or cash. Instead of tickets, points are accumulated on the cards to redeem prizes, ensuring a seamless and immersive gaming experience. The cards can also be used at the Family Fun Station located on the Ground Level, North Tower.

“We’re thrilled to welcome the Game Up Lounge to the vibrant setting of The Quarter at Tropicana,” Joseph Giunta, senior vice president and general manager, Tropicana Atlantic City, said. “This new addition brings a fresh energy to our resort, offering both locals and visitors an innovative and social gaming experience that will have them returning again and again.”

“We are super excited to add Game Up Lounge to The Quarter,” David Kleinschrodt, president of Globe Vending Company, who developed and operates the new venue, said. “Business has been brisk since our soft opening in late July.”

The arcade is one of several new offerings in The Quarter over the last four years, including Breathe Salt Spa, Gin Rickey’s, The Royce Social Hall, Wild Honey Smokehouse and Tavern, and most recently, Odie & Ott’s.

Situated in the heart of Tropicana’s nightlife and entertainment scene, Game Up Lounge is the first luxury arcade experience in Atlantic City and is open Sunday – Thursday from 11 a.m. – Midnight and Friday – Saturday 11 a.m. – 2 a.m.
