Boys & Girls Clubs in New Jersey collaborates with DoorDash to help support programming for local clubs

The Boys & Girls Clubs in New Jersey recently announced it is once again collaborating with DoorDash to help support programming for local clubs as part of its Community Credits program. Through this partnership, DoorDash will provide $17,000 in digital gift cards to 17 local Boys & Girls Clubs across the state helping them access meals, essentials and other items that will make a difference in their communities.

The DoorDash gift cards will help empower New Jersey clubs and the communities they serve to assist in reducing food insecurity and encourage participation in programs that expand access to opportunity.

Clubs utilize these funds to help build community spirit by coming together in celebration of the youth, their families and the youth development staff who work to ensure New Jersey club youth are on the path to a great future.

“Boys & Girls Clubs in New Jersey is incredibly grateful to DoorDash for once again supporting New Jersey clubs across the state. The impact of this partnership has provided club youth, staff and families with access to food and essentials in their local communities that will really make a difference,” Susan Haspel, state director of Boys & Girls Clubs in New Jersey, said.

“Community is at the heart of everything that we do, and the Boys & Girls Clubs in New Jersey do such important work for children across the state,” Ivan Garcia, senior manager of public engagement at DoorDash, said. “We’re thrilled to partner with the Boys & Girls Clubs in New Jersey and help them to do more of what really matters: support their communities.”

Boys & Girls Clubs in New Jersey is an alliance of 22 Boys & Girls Club organizations serving more than 55,000 youth ages 5-18 through membership and community outreach across the Garden State.
