New Concepts for Living (NCFL), a leading provider of care for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD), has opened its newest community residence in Hillsdale. The six-bedroom home is specifically designed for medically fragile individuals who require on-site nursing care.
This marks NCFL’s 18th residence in New Jersey and the fourth dedicated to individuals with complex medical needs. The home provides 24/7 specialized support, including direct support professionals, licensed nurses, and behaviorists. Equipped with accessibility features such as ceiling tracks, emergency exits in each bedroom, and a dedicated physical therapy space, the residence offers a safe, comfortable, and nurturing environment.
NCFL plans to expand further in 2025 with four additional residences, including another medically supportive home in Mahwah.
