Red Clover HR launches swipe-based job matching platform

Red Clover HR, Parsippany, a leading provider of outsourced HR services for small and growing businesses, has announced the beta launch of RedCloverJobs.com, an innovative job-matching platform designed to simplify hiring. The mobile-first platform takes inspiration from dating apps, allowing job seekers to swipe through listings and connect with employers seamlessly.

A Modern Approach to Job Hunting

RedCloverJobs.com aims to attract candidates who may not engage with traditional job boards, particularly tradespeople and students. The app streamlines the hiring process by presenting job postings with key details, including location, pay rate, and benefits.

For Employers: Businesses can create profiles and list job openings with relevant details. When a candidate swipes right on a listing, the employer receives a notification and can choose to connect.

For Job Seekers: Unlike traditional job applications, no resume is required. Candidates create a profile, set filters based on pay range and location, and swipe through job opportunities.

From Concept to Reality

The idea for RedCloverJobs.com originated from a real-world hiring challenge faced by a Red Clover HR client. Founder Jennifer L’Estrange saw firsthand how potential job candidates were scrolling on their smartphones but not engaging with job boards.

“I knew we needed to create something different, but as a Gen Xer, I wasn’t sure what it should look like,” said L’Estrange. “So, I turned to my high schooler for inspiration.”

Her son, William L’Estrange, a senior at Morristown Beard School, took the lead in designing the app’s user experience.

“I wanted it to feel like a dating app—easy to use, visually engaging, and fast,” he said. “After several iterations, we built a version that I believe will help tradespeople and students find jobs more quickly.”

Now Available in New Jersey

RedCloverJobs.com is now open to employers and job seekers in Morris, Somerset, Essex, Bergen, and Union counties. Businesses can create listings, and job seekers can start swiping today at RedCloverJobs.com.
