HRH Launches Mobile Health Clinic, expanding care access in Hudson County

Hudson Regional Health (HRH), in partnership with the City of Hoboken, announced the launch of its new Mobile Health Clinic. The Clinic is a community outreach initiative designed to bring essential preventive and primary care services directly to residents across Hudson County.

The program will debut on Oct. 22 at Hoboken City Hall, located at 94 Washington Street, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., where the mobile unit will provide flu shots and free blood pressure screenings to community members.

Community members are encouraged to register in advance and select a convenient appointment time by using the following link.

“The launch of our mobile clinic reflects Hudson Regional Health’s ongoing commitment to improving access to care, particularly for those who may face barriers to visiting a hospital or doctor’s office,” said Dr. Nizar Kifaieh, president and CEO of Hudson Regional Health. “By bringing health care directly into the community, we can reach residents where they live, work and gather to help prevent illness and promote overall wellness.”

The mobile clinic is a fully equipped medical unit designed to deliver a variety of health care services in neighborhoods throughout Hudson County. In addition to preventive screenings and vaccinations, future services offered through the mobile unit may include:

  • Primary care consultations and health education
  • Women’s health and wellness visits
  • Diabetes and cholesterol screenings
  • Vision and hearing tests
  • Pediatric immunizations and physicals
  • Behavioral health outreach

Following its debut in Hoboken, the HRH Mobile Health Clinic will visit additional communities across Jersey City, Bayonne and Secaucus in the coming months, with a schedule of stops to be announced on HRH’s website and social media channels.
