Warby Parker, a New York City-based fashion eyeglasses company, is expanding its presence in New Jersey with two new stores, it announced Thursday.
After opening a store in Paramus in September, the company has decided on Hoboken and Westfield for its newest spots. Warby Parker has offices in New York and Nashville, Tennessee, and more than 1,600 employees overall.
“We’re really excited to explore more of the Garden State with our two new locations,” Neil Blumenthal, co-founder and co-CEO of Warby Parker, said. “Some of our customers here in New Jersey have been following us since the very beginning. Now with our Westfield and Hoboken stores, we’ll be able to make their experiences with us more personal and convenient.”
Its Hoboken location, which officially opens Saturday at 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., will be set at 538 Washington St. It’s hours are Monday to Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sundays from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Its Westfield store, which will open soon after Hoboken debuts, will be located at 126 Central Ave. Its hours are the same as its Hoboken location.
“We’re thrilled about getting our new shop up and running—even more so about seeing our Hoboken neighbors on their own stomping grounds,” Blumenthal said. “Because the Garden State has gifted us such good friends and good times already, we’re making one more stop here before 2018 ends.”
Each store features the company’s full collection of eyeglasses and sunglasses, it said, as well as accessories, books, elusive specialty sunglasses and kids’ glasses.
To celebrate the openings, Warby Parker said is releasing two limited-edition, location-exclusive sunglasses.
Stores offer expert advisers and accept some insurance plans.
