Acadia Professional, a medical professional liability firm based in Morristown, announced Tuesday it has appointed Brian S. Kern as partner.

Prior to Acadia, Kern founded Toro Risk Consulting Group. Before that, he was a founder and principal at Argent Professionals, which was acquired by Bollinger. He also currently serves in an advisory capacity at various health care companies.
