Daiso, a Japanese retail store known for selling items for $1.99, announced Friday it has opened its first New Jersey store, in Edgewater.
The 7,000-square-foot store, located at 595 River Road, will have a grand opening ceremony Aug. 3.
This is Daiso’s second store in the tri-state area. Daiso said it has scheduled three more stores to open by the end of this year.
The store will feature products including back-to-school, entertaining and organizational supplies, kitchenware, beauty supplies, stationary, electronics accessories, unique gift items, snacks and more.
