N.J.’s online casinos in Sept. hit $70.4M in record revenue

New Jersey’s online casinos hit record revenues this month, according to BonusSeeker.com.

The gaming site found that online gross revenues in September were up by $10 million when compared to August. And when the state’s online sportsbooks are included, total revenues in September jumped to more than $70 million, according to figures released by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement.

In September 2018, online gambling revenue hit $25.8 million. This month (September 2019) was the second month in a row with more than $40 million in revenue. The month also had $39.50 in gross online casino gaming wins, $29.27 million in gross online sports betting wins and $1.64 million in gross online poker game wins.

New Jersey’s sports betting sites are continuing on an upward trend, with an increase of $10 million when compared to August — an expected rise due to the return of football, BonusSeeker.com said.

“The significance of NFL betting is clear as day for these online sportsbooks. I am very excited to see the numbers in the coming months when we include the impact of baseball playoffs and the return of the NBA and NHL,” Rich Migliorisi, managing editor at BonusSeeker.com, said.
