World Insurance Associates LLC, a Tinton Falls-based insurance brokerage announced it had acquired Summit-based Lewis-Chester Associates Inc. on Feb. 1.
Lewis-Chester, founded in 1947, is an independent insurance agency with more than seven decades of experience. It has niche expertise in insuring the New York metropolitan commercial real estate market and has developed programs focused on multifamily, affordable apartments and independent senior apartments.
“Bill Frankel and the team at Lewis-Chester Associates, Inc. have built a solid reputation on their ability to build and maintain their clients’ confidence and trust, and we welcome that level of expertise and service to our organization,” Rich Eknoian, co-founder and CEO World Insurance Associates, said.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
“Throughout the years we have helped our clients grow and have grown along with them, and merging with World Insurance Associates will allow us to continue to do so on a larger scale with more resources,” Bill Frankel, president of Lewis-Chester Associates, said.
