B2 Bistro + Bar buys Martell’s Waters Edge in Berkeley Township

A new dining and entertainment destination will soon be open on the Barnegat Bay.

B2 Bistro + Bar has purchased Martell’s Waters Edge in Berkeley Township, according to an announcement from Bielat Santore & Co. of Allenhurst, which facilitated the transaction.

Located at 11 Whitecap Way in Ocean County, on the Barnegat Bay, the Water’s Edge offers panoramic water views and a convenient location for diners and boaters to gather on the waterfront of the Jersey Shore. The restaurant’s massive 7,000-plus-square-foot outdoor deck is equipped with three “tiki bars,” a full outdoor kitchen, 23 “dock and dine” boat slips and house-owned pontoon boats to bring anchored boaters to land. There is even a built-in pool and pool bar for those who need to cool off on a sizzling summer day.

“We will be building a premier destination-style restaurant, which will be open 365 days a year. The community is fantastic down here. This venue will have something for everyone,” according to Stephen Valentine, managing partner at B2 Bistro + Bar.

B2 Bistro’s menu includes American and Mediterranean fare, including fresh seafood, burgers, steaks, wood-fired pizza, sushi and always the best craft beers on tap.

This will be B2 Bistro + Bar restaurant group’s sixth B2 Bistro + Bar location and its third in Ocean County. Their other restaurants are in Red Bank, Point Pleasant Beach, North Brunswick, Toms River and Reading, Pennsylvania.

B2 Bistro + Bar plans for a grand opening April 8, weekends only, and will shift to seven days a week May 5.
