Devils Youth Foundation continues growth with announcement of new board members

The Devils Youth Foundation on Thursday announced it added Vaughn Crowe, managing partner at Newark Venture Partners, and Sarah Keh, vice president of inclusion solutions at Prudential Financial, to its board of directors. Their appointment was announced by Allison Blitzer, chair of the Newark-based foundation.

“I am thrilled to have Vaughn and Sarah join the Devils Youth Foundation board,” Blitzer stated. “They both have a strong history and passion for using their time to develop Newark and the surrounding communities. I also want to thank Newark Venture Partners and Prudential Financial for their support in bringing Vaughn and Sarah into the New Jersey Devils and Prudential Center family. With their help, relationships and guidance, we look forward to continuing to create real change for our local communities and the youth of New Jersey.”

Prior to joining NVP, Crowe served as managing director at Wesray Social Investments, the investment arm of Ray Chambers’ family office. Born and raised in Newark, Crowe grew up in the Boys & Girls Clubs of Newark, attended Weequahic High School and graduated from Colgate University. His philanthropic services include his role as vice chair of Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, an RWJBarnabas Hospital and member of the New Jersey State Investment Council, the governing structure for the state’s $100 billion pension assets. Crowe is on the board of two consumer products companies and is an advisory member for Simon Quick Advisors, a wealth management company.

“I was born and raised in Newark, so working with an organization like the Devils Youth Foundation, which supports the needs of children in my home community, brings me great pride,” Crowe stated. “We are both committed to developing areas in the city that need it the most and provide kids with the exposure and opportunity to help them grow. I look forward to working with the DYF team and impacting addressing the areas that need our resources the most.”

Keh is a vice president of inclusive solutions at Prudential Financial. In her current role, she leads strategic philanthropy and partnerships to help advance the company’s purpose and commitment to inclusive economic growth. She oversees philanthropic grants, business-aligned partnerships and employee volunteer programs to expand work and wealth opportunities for financially vulnerable populations, build inclusive and equitable communities, advance racial equity and justice and support disaster response and recovery efforts. Keh currently serves on the board of JerseyCAN and the investment committee of PGIM Real Estate’s Impact Value Partners.

“We are committed to advancing inclusive economic growth in Newark, and we’re long-standing partners of the New Jersey Devils and the Prudential Center,” Keh stated. “I’m pleased to join the board of the Devils Youth Foundation to ensure young people in our headquarter city have the opportunity to engage in meaningful sports and arts programming as part of their growth and development.”
