Newly remodeled Burlington Walmart Supercenter celebrates completion

Walmart customers in Burlington will be welcomed inside a newly transformed Supercenter, as a highly anticipated remodeling project has now been completed.

Walmart associates and local community leaders will celebrate the remodeled store, located at 2106 Mount Holly Road, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and related events, along with the unveiling of a community-inspired mural.

“Walmart is dedicated to enhancing the shopping experience for our Burlington customers,” John Cooper, store manager, said. “We’re thrilled to introduce a range of new in-store features, thanks to the commitment of our associates and store leadership team. This investment underscores our promise to New Jersey’s communities.”

During the reopening celebration — which will honor four associates, each with 20 or more years of service with Walmart — Cooper will highlight the transformations at the store, including new, interactive features now available to customers. These include:

  • New products and categories: Expanded departments, new apparel brands, and more;
  • Expanded dairy and foods: New offerings, expanded sections, and improved layout;
  • Reconfigured store layout: Providing more convenient access to well-shopped areas;
  • Expanded pharmacy and updates to the vision center;
  • Refreshed interior and exterior: Includes new paint and signage for easier navigation through the stores;
  • Lighting enhancements: New fixtures and LED lighting for better line-of-sight and easier navigation.

Walmart customers may also save time and money by shopping when, where and how they want. The Burlington store will continue offering the following innovations:

  • Pickup: Walmart’s Pickup option has become a favorite among busy shoppers. It provides the convenience of online shopping and allows them to quickly collect groceries without stepping from their vehicles. The best part is that Walmart Grocery Pickup is completely free of charge. In addition, customers using SNAP have the option, in most states, to avail themselves of the pickup service.
  • Delivery: Walmart’s convenient delivery service is also a hit with customers. Further, Walmart has now made both pickup and delivery contact-free. And with express delivery, customers may have their deliveries arrive in less than two hours.
  • Walmart Pay: A touch-free way to pay.
