Saiber on Tuesday said it named two new co-managing members to work in tandem to lead the Florham Park-based law firm’s Executive Committee.
Effective Jan. 1, Nino Coviello and Jennine DiSomma were named to succeed William Maderer, who has served as managing member since 2004. DiSomma is the first woman to fill this role in the firm’s more-than-70-year history.
“Nino and Jennine have been integral members of Saiber for over 20 years, and I am excited to be handing over the reins to two talented and successful individuals,” Maderer, who will continue as a member and focus on his litigation practice, stated. “I am confident that Saiber is in good hands with Nino and Jennine, and I look forward to them leading and growing the firm for years to come.”
In their roles, Coviello and DiSomma will lead the firm’s leadership body, overseeing the most critical decisions made by the firm, including the operations and personnel, business development and strategic growth, finance and information technology.
“It’s an incredible honor to serve as a co-managing member of the firm where I’ve worked nearly my entire professional career,” DiSomma, who is a leader of the Employment and Labor Law practice group and has been a member of the Executive Committee since 2018, said. “I am looking forward to tackling the challenges that lie ahead and making an impact at the firm that has given so much to me.”
DiSomma joined Saiber in 1989, where she began representing employers in a range of workplace disputes. She is an active member of the firm’s administrative operations and internal affairs, including serving as a member of the Diversity & Inclusion and Recruitment committees.
“This is an exciting opportunity that I do not take lightly,” Coviello, a leader of the firm’s transactional practice, said. “I’m focused on continuing to grow the firm and providing the highest-quality legal service to our clients as we have for over 70 years.”
Coviello joined Saiber in 2000, specializing in representing public, private and closely held businesses in an array of corporate transactions, as well as individuals in various tax and estate planning matters. He was elected to the Executive Committee in 2022.
