Mark Harmon and Erin Teske have joined the Litigation Group at Chiesa Shahinian & Giantomasi as of counsel and member, respectively, the firm announced Wednesday.
The arrival of Harmon and Teske marks the latest in a series of significant moves for the firm’s Litigation Group, from the addition of a new Securities Enforcement Group and former Financial Industry Regulatory Authority executives Christopher Kelly and Lisa Colone to the high-profile hiring of the Hon. John Michael Vazquez, former U.S. district judge for the District of New Jersey.
Harmon and Teske previously worked at a national law firm, where they represented clients such as financial institutions, stock transfer agents, accounting firms and a range of employers in complex disputes, investigations, litigations, examinations and administrative and enforcement proceedings.
Harmon and Teske both have extensive experience representing stock transfer agents, including advising clients with respect to compliance with securities laws, defending claims in judicial proceedings and appearing before the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Harmon and Teske also represent international accounting firms against allegations of malpractice in their auditing engagements.

Harmon earned his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School and his B.A. from the University of Buffalo. Teske earned her J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law and her B.A. from the University of Michigan.
