Investors Bank named ‘Official Consumer and Business Bank of the New York Giants’

The New York Giants and Short Hills-based Investors Bank have formed an alliance, the team announced Thursday.

Beginning in the National Football League’s 2018 season, Investors will be named the “Official Consumer and Business Bank of the New York Giants.”

Kevin Cummings, Investor Bank’s chairman and CEO, said he’s excited about the partnership.

“Our goal is to broaden our brand awareness while driving engagement with their loyal fans. Investors Bank and the Giants are deeply committed to the shared values of excellence in performance, building positive relationships and making significant, lasting differences in local communities,” Cummings said.

Under terms of the alliance, digital and video signage of Investors Bank will be strewn about throughout MetLife Stadium during each Giants home game. Advertising will also be featured on Giants’ broadcast and digital media. There will also be tailgate events, a special checking account and a debit card with the Giants’ logo.

“We appreciate Investors Bank’s history since both of our organizations were founded over 90 years ago – the Giants in 1925 and Investors Bank in 1926.  Our organization embraces Investors’ corporate mission, represented by its ‘Four Cs’ – Commitment, Character, Cooperation and Community. We look forward to joining forces with Investors Bank to bring added value to their employees, clients and our neighbors they serve each day. The longer-term goal is to develop new promotional opportunities for each organization as the alliance gains momentum and creates new ways for us to better serve their clients and our fans,” John K. Mara, CEO and president of the New York Giants, said.

“I have a deep-rooted relationship with each organization, and both management teams are talented, trustworthy and focused on delivering an exceptional experience to their clients and fans. We are seeing the start of what will surely be a long-lasting partnership that will exceed everyone’s expectations,” former New York Giants Quarterback and current Investors Bank spokesperson Phil Simms said.

Investors Bank will also have meet-and-greets of Giants legends, who are members of the Giants’ alumni team, at its branches in New Jersey and New York.

Source Communications is the advertising agency for Investors Bank. Source’s President Larry Rothstein and his team played a major role in creating the alliance as well as developing the assets.
