A Wyckoff-based litigation firm has joined the Hackensack office of a larger firm, it announced recently.
Scott B. Piekarsky and his team from Piekarsky and Associates will now be part of the New Jersey office of Phillips Nizer, the New York firm said in a news release. Piekarsky will be a partner with Phillips Nizer, it noted.
Piekarsky focuses on litigation matters involving general corporate and business law, among other specialties.
“We are happy to welcome Scott, a top-notch litigator,” Marc Landis, Phillips Nizer’s managing partner, said in a prepared statement. “His knowledge of the New Jersey courts and his ability to take on almost any case makes him an important addition to our team, especially as we continue to grow our New Jersey practice.”
Two other attorneys will join the firm, along with the Piekarsky and Associates staff: Jennifer O’Neill, who handles corporate and litigation matters, among other specialties; and Ernest Schoellkopff, who works on commercial and real estate litigation, among other fields.
