Cognizant announced on Tuesday it has entered into negotiations to acquire the French operations of EI-Technologies, a Paris-based digital technology consulting firm and Salesforce Platinum Partner.
The proposed deal, according to Teaneck-based IT services provider, would complement its existing global Salesforce practice and expand client resources in Europe.
“We’re determined to help our clients become fully digital, data-enabled, customer-centric businesses. Cloud has changed the way IT is delivered across infrastructure, applications and platforms, and is one of our strategic focus areas,” Cognizant CEO Brian Humphries said. “EI-Technologies, based in France, would not only support our effort to further scale our international business but also add Salesforce expertise and capabilities to our cloud management portfolio.”
The deal will add about 354 employees to Cognizant’s payroll in France, it said.

Financial terms were not disclosed.
