Stone Creek Construction Group completes dual restaurant projects in Morristown

Two new restaurants in Morristown are now open and ready for diners, according to a Tuesday announcement from Matawan-based Stone Creek Construction Group, which constructed the venues.

Parkside Tavern and Sushi Lounge, located beside each other, also share a state-of-the-art kitchen, showcasing Stone Creek Construction Group’s ability to deliver versatile and functional commercial spaces.

The two restaurants mark the second and third dining destinations the company has constructed in Morristown, the first being 1776 by David Burke and the adjoining Topgolf Swing Suites.

“The Morristown dining scene is dynamic and evolving,” Shelby Gasek, vice president and partner at Stone Creek Construction Group, said. “It has been a great opportunity to deliver three concepts and we are excited to contribute to the growth of the town.”

Parkside Tavern is inspired by European, neighborhood pubs, and offers a menu featuring classic comfort foods and a variety of beverages. Warm colors and rich wood finishes infuse the space, creating a cozy, comfortable atmosphere.

Next door, Sushi Lounge is the newest outpost of this trendy brand. The sleek, modern design brings an energetic vibe to the restaurant and lounge area serving Japanese fusion dishes and freshly prepared sushi.

The 6,500-square-foot, dual-restaurant project is located on Speedwell Avenue. Previously an office space, Stone Creek handled demolition to the shell, and significant mechanical, electrical and plumbing services to convert the space into restaurants with a full kitchen. The interior work included high-end millwork details in both restaurants.

“We are proud to have been a part of bringing these two distinct dining experiences to the greater Morristown community,” Michael Bruno, president at Stone Creek Construction Group, said. “Our team worked diligently to ensure both restaurants were built to the highest standards, providing a seamless and enjoyable experience for future patrons.”
