A former assistant U.S. attorney has joined Chiesa Shahinian & Giantomasi’s White Collar Criminal Defense & Government Investigations Group as a member, the law firm announced Monday.
Danielle Corcione, who was an assistant U.S. attorney in the Criminal Division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for New Jersey, joins several other former federal prosecutors at the firm, including Jeffrey Chiesa, Ross Pearlson, Matthew Beck and Lee Vartan.
Corcione, an experienced trial lawyer, represents individuals, governmental bodies and companies in white collar criminal defense, internal investigations and complex civil litigation, the firm said. She also has experience handling data privacy issues.
“I look forward to working closely alongside the firm’s exceptionally talented attorneys, reconnecting with former colleagues from the U.S. Attorney’s Office and putting my insight to work advising on criminal and civil matters for the benefit of our valued clients,” she said in a prepared statement.
She joined CSG from Day Pitney, where she worked in the White Collar Defense Group. In addition to her experience in the U.S. Attorney’s Office, she worked as a senior privacy counsel with an international cosmetics manufacturer.

Corcione is a graduate of New York Law School, and is admitted to practice in New Jersey, New York and the Eastern and Southern districts of New York.
