Of the many lessons learned during the pandemic was an appreciation for the banking and financial industry. Their efforts in the distribution of Paycheck Protection Program funds literally kept the economy going.
These efforts were just one of the reasons why the relationship between banks and businesses (and residents) has been rethought. And for the better.
Seemingly all financial institutions have pledged to ensure that access to capital is available to everyone — especially those in underserved communities. It is an effort that can and will have a generational effect on wealth.
